Wireless Alarms and Good Locks

A Wireless Alarm and Good Locks make a property safe.

yale wireless alarm for the houseA Wireless Alarms with an Auto Dialler can protect property against burglary and give you the best security for your money above any other piece of equipment, with the exception of good security locks and bolts.

In my professional opinion as a security installer of almost 30 years’ experience, you can read articles until you’re blue in the face about what protects the property against intruders and deliberate etc., but when you really get down to the nitty-gritty of what gives the best protection, I would say firstly and most importantly good security locks and bolts but then next to that it is an effective wireless security alarm with an auto dialler.

People can cast doubts about the effectiveness of security alarms and come out with comments such as “nobody takes any notice when alarms go off, they are always false alarming” and to a small degree that is probably true! But the truth is that if you have a street of properties in which some of the properties have security alarms and some do not, it is extremely more likely that burglars will attempt to break into the properties without the alarm. Its total common sense that if an intruder gets into the property say through the rear doors, which is the usual point of entry and then the security alarm is activated making an extremely loud sound ideally from the front and rear of the property also with its strobe light flashing to pinpoint which security alarm is in operation, the burglar would not feel at ease wandering around inside the property which is under inspection now from the neighbors.

And secondly, if that security alarm immediately started to ring up the pre-programmed numbers in its auto dialler, to notify family, friends or neighbors that the alarm is in operation,  these people can now do something about it by either ringing the police are going to investigate themselves carefully.

In other words, this property cannot be now be burgled without bringing it to the attention through both its local media of sounds and strobe lights and the automated telephone dialing warning system.

In fact, if people also put a sign up pointing out their security alarm is connected to an auto dialler and even suggesting this is a wireless auto dialler that doesn’t even need the telephone wires to ring out, that is another visual deterrent to any would-be burglar.

After fitting security alarms for almost three decades, it is obvious to me that security alarms are a big deterrent to burglars, it just makes common sense.

I found this to be true because very few of my customers who have a security alarm fitted then get the problem of being re-burgled.

And regarding the aspect of security alarms not being reliable, if you have a  hard-wired security alarm service with new batteries in the main control panel and external siren box, at least every five years.

And if it is a wireless security alarm there is even less to go wrong and more flexibility regarding usage. A wireless security service is usually needed with standard alkaline batteries changing in its senses and siren box, every two to three years, which can be done by the customer themselves. It is easier to look after than a hard-wired hardwired system in that respect.

At the time of writing in the year 2011 it is very possible to have a wireless alarm fitted to a house property with an auto dialler and the cost should be very little over £300 and that’s got to be great value for money when you consider that the security alarm will be protecting the property for many years to come and giving peace of mind.

It is not necessary to buy expensive equipment nowadays; there are some very reliable cheaper wireless alarms to do the job very effectively, but once again this needs researched or get professional advice as there are also some cheap security alarms that do not work reliably.

A good quality inexpensive wireless security alarm fitted professionally by an auto dialler will give you great security, peace of mind at a low cost.
