If you have an old security alarm we can suggest the most cost-effective way of upgrading this without going to the expense of installing a new alarm system completely.
One of the very best ways of upgrading an older security alarm is to have a new self-acting siren box fitted. New siren boxes cannot be stopped by a burglar by simply damaging the internal control panel, because self-acting siren boxes have their own circuit board and battery backup, which enables the unit to continue sending out its warning siren sound and flashing strobe light.
New siren boxes also have constantly flashing LED lights, which show that the siren box is alive at the unit. The first thing a potential burglar looks at is the siren box and a new up-to-date unit it is a good visual and practical deterrence, even if the internal security alarm equipment consists of all the units.
